What can I expect?
The Basler's offer a modern approach to learning new skills and tools to help deepen your love . This will not be your stereo-typical group setting where you drink stale coffee in a community center basement while strangers bare their souls under harsh lights. The Basler's offer a intimate group of like-minded couples, all seeking the tools and knowledge to have a long lasting connection. We will meet in the cozy comfort of the pink house sipping gourmet teas and coffee - and most importantly a supportive community of couples and experts.
We know that sometimes folks need just a little help to get their relationships back on track, and are not looking for the longer term commitment (and investment) of one-on-one therapeutic work. That said, Deepen Your Relationship is also a fantastic compliment to any ongoing individual or couples therapy.
Are you going to ask me to share personal information in front of strangers?(!)
Participants are invited to share as much information as they feel comfortable with. We don’t push anyone to reveal sensitive info unless they choose to do so. That said, we find that as you relax in the intimate, personal setting, you will build a camaraderie with the other couples.
The true value of a group is learning and supporting other couples facing similar challenges and that happens best when everyone shares honestly and openly.
Group participants are expected to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of other group members. Anyone found exploiting or gossiping outside of group may be asked to leave without refund.
The Basler's have struggled through and been blessed by 53 years of marriage. Susie, LSW has worked with adolescents and families for 30 years. Frank has been a leadership coach, psychotherapist, and a meditation instructor for 25+ years.
Session dates are 3/17, 3/24 and 3/31 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The cost is $450 total per couple for the 3 sessions. Spots are limited.
